Title: Accounting Technician

The Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance seeks an Accounting Technician for a five county workforce area with funding provided by the federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
Responsibilities: Responsible for daily accounting and records management activities. Data entry of fiscal information utilizing Sage Fund Accounting Software. Utilize fund accounting modular systems to enter transaction according to general ledger, budget, encumbrances, accounts payment and accounts receivable. Utilize State of Illinois grant reporting systems for grant reporting. Maintain payroll records for Alliance personnel. Prepare reports for Board, CEOs, Alliance and State as required.
Requirements: High school diploma and two years' experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting.
Skills: One year experience in accounting data base systems and computer operations. Attention to detail, ability to compile data and report writing.
