SOFTWARE AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES
FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM

The County of Sangamon, Illinois, seeks from all interested companies, proposals to acquire and implement an Environmental Health System.  The system shall provide four services, food establishment tracking, private well tracking, private septic tracking, and complaint tracking. The preferred system would be a stand alone environmental health system that must have the ability to integrate with other modules that may be acquired at a later date.  The preferred system must also be able to provide food establishment inspection and violation information for the Health Department website. The County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors that provide state-of-the-art software, implementation, and conversion services. The County expects system implementation would begin in July 2009 and would like installation of the entire system completed by August 1, 2009.  Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 29, 2009.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks to solicit proposals from vendors that can provide a software solution that satisfies the County of Sangamon’s requirements for a Windows based computerized environmental health software package which contains a fully integrated group of products from data collection to administration. The County expects to provide all users with the option of access to the system.

Questions regarding the Request For Proposal (RFP) will be answered in writing by addendum and provided to all parties (“proposers”).  All proposals should be sent directly to James D. Stone, Director, shown at address above.  If the proposal is mailed, you should allow sufficient time for it to arrive by the noted date and time.
