Tom is a pro-active member of the Sangamon County Board. He is a former member of the Gardner Township Board and a lifelong resident of Gardner Township. Tom graduated from Pleasant Plains High School and later served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era (1972-74). He is currently employed by the Illinois State Fire Marshal.
