Jen Dillman was appointed to County Board District 23 after Debbie Cimarossa was elected as Alderman of Ward 7 in the spring of 2007. She completed her first election in November, 2008. Jen has two children and is an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church. She coordinates the Blessed Sacrament Playgroup for Moms and was selected as a recipient of the 2007 “Forty Under 40” Award. She is also a member of the MacArthur Blvd. Association, the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce and a 4-H Alumni. Jen also serves on the board of the Sangamon County Habitat for Humanity, as well as the Advisory Board for www.springfieldmoms.org website. Jen works part-time as Finance Director for Congressman John Shimkus.

Jen serves on the Sangamo Scripts Prescription Drug Committee, which oversees the successful Sangamon County Sangamo Scripts Prescription Drug Program which provides lower cost prescriptions for over 8,000 people in Sangamon County.

Jen is especially interested in recycling and is a promoter of using green products.

Jen looks forward to applying her educational and government experience, as well as community involvement, towards serving the citizens of District 23.
